Building Base Isolation

Avoid impact noises from vibrations originating from surrounding environments such as rail traffic, road noise, construction sites, and more.

One common technique is the use of a “base isolation” system, which is designed to decouple the building from the ground by using a series of flexible elements, such as bearings or pads, between the building’s foundation and the ground.

Another technique is the use of “mass dampers,” which are large, heavy weights that are placed in strategic locations within a building to dampen vibrations.

The product range includes strips, mats and spring isolators packages.
